Fanfiction and Podfic by Rheanna
Welcome! This is
Rheanna's very simple and extremely irregularly updated fanfiction page.
The stories here
have been written purely to amuse myself and anyone who wants to read
them, without intent of infringement or expectation of profit.
Some of the works
of fiction here contain scenes of an explicit sexual nature. Please do
not click those links if you are underage or think you will be offended
by such material. I have a content labelling
policy which outlines what types of content I will warn for.
Looking for Counteragent's vids and podfic? Her
page is here.
Looking for Astrid's fanart and comics? Her
page is here.

Length: 3,160 words
Notes: John/Ronon, Ronon POV. This is a remix of Busaikko's story, Homework,
in which Dave Sheppard finds himself receiving e-mails from Ronon. I wondered
what Ronon's side of the story would sound like, and she very generously
gave me permission to remix her fic. I have taken some lines directly
from her story (chiefly the texts of some of the e-mails between Ronon
and Dave), and used many of the incidents she describes. The two fics
can be read independently, but if you've happened on this one first, please
go and read Homework and then come back here! ETA Nov 2011: there are
now podfic versions
of both stories, read by Susan Voight.

Like
Pebbles at the Water's Edge (Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon)
Summary: When the last of the summer warmth sank out of the air and came
to rest as frost spun like strands of silk upon the hardening earth, Li
Mu Bai returned.
Rating: PG
Timeline: Pre-movie
Completed: 2004
Length: 15,000 words
Notes: Li Mu Bai/Yu Shu Lien.
Originally, this fic was going
to be the first in a set of five stories, each one set in a different
historical period and a different fandom. The idea was that each fic would
be complete in its own right, but that they would overlap thematically
and tell a longer story when taken as a whole. Unfortunately, I wrote
the first story and then ran out of steam on the rest, although I still
like the idea enough that it's in my list of "things I wouldn't mind
coming back to some day." This story can be read as a stand-alone,
though, so here it is.
Like Pebbles...is set
some years before the movie "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon."
In the film, Yu Shu Lien describes how she was once betrothed to a man
called Meng Si Zhou, who was a fellow warrior of Li Mu Bai's, and that,
following his death, she and Mu Bai became close but could not pursue
a relationship which would dishonour the memory of her fiancé.
"Like Pebbles..." is my take on that.
